The population was 74,793 in 2020. North Port has about 80 miles of freshwater canals and some saltwater canals as well. North Port Skate Park is a 14,000 sq. ft. skating facility comprised of concrete bowls, ramps, jumps, and rails. The Skate Park allows the mixed use of skateboards, bikes, and inline skating.
